FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions about windows, doors and how we work.

How much do the windows cost, and when will I get a quote?

The price depends on the material, dimensions, glazing and hardware. Send us drawings or a short description of the site — we will prepare a quote within a few working days.

Do you work with private clients?

Yes. We work a lot with developers of townhouses and homes, but we also make and install windows and doors for individual houses.

What kind of windows do you make?

PVC (REHAU, Salamander, Kömmerling and VEKA profiles), aluminium (Reynaers systems) and timber (EURO68, EURO78, EURO92) windows and doors, all made to measure.

Do you install the windows yourselves?

Yes. Our own installation team fits the windows and doors, and you get one point of contact for the whole site.

Do you replace glazing units?

Yes, we replace double and triple glazing units.

Which PVC system should I choose?

All the PVC systems we offer meet the requirements for passive and A++ energy-class homes, with heat transfer coefficients (Uw) from 0.72 to 0.76 W/m²K. They differ in profile and glazing depth, hardware and price — send us your drawings and we will advise which system suits your project best.

How much do PVC windows cost?

The price depends on the profile system, dimensions, glazing and hardware. Once we have your drawings or dimensions, we will prepare an exact quote within a few working days.

Can I order doors from the same system?

Yes. All the PVC systems have window and door profiles, and the Kömmerling and VEKA systems have sliding-door profiles too. That way the whole house can use one system.

Which windows should I choose for a new house?

PVC windows offer the best balance of price and energy efficiency, aluminium allows large glazed areas with slim profiles, and timber brings the warmth of natural wood. All our PVC systems and the Reynaers MasterLine systems are suitable for A++ energy-class homes. Send us your drawings and we will advise which material and system best suit your project and budget.

What are the advantages of aluminium windows?

Aluminium is strong, durable and easy to maintain, so it can be used for large glazed areas with slim profiles. The Reynaers systems we use meet the criteria for A++ and passive-house energy classes, so aluminium windows are warm too.

Do you make large sliding patio doors?

Yes. A Reynaers MasterPatio sliding sash can be up to 3000 mm wide and 3600 mm high, and a CP 155 lift-and-slide element can weigh up to 400 kg. We also make CF 77 folding doors that open up the full width of the opening.

Which timber windows are suitable for an A+ class house?

The 92 mm EURO92 and EURO92 Alu clad windows, with a heat transfer coefficient of Uw = 0.8 W/m²K, are suitable for A+ class homes. They are among the warmest timber windows we offer and the most popular choice of new-home builders.

Do timber windows need a lot of maintenance?

No. Modern paint technology means the windows will not need repainting for many years. For even less maintenance, choose windows clad in aluminium on the outside (EURO68, EURO78 or EURO92 Alu clad): they are more durable and more resistant to the weather.

What should we send to get a quote for a whole development?

The project’s window schedule or drawings (you can attach PDF or ZIP files to the enquiry form), the number of houses and the preferred material or profile system if you already know it. We will prepare technical solutions and a price for the whole site.

How long does manufacturing take?

Manufacturing usually takes 4–5 weeks from the moment the final order details and price are agreed. We give the exact lead time in the quote: it depends on the material, the system and the size of the order.
